RE: Defibrillators

The Mid-Michigan Community Fire Department has received two Power Heart automatic external defibrillators (AED) from the Michigan Center for Rural Health (MCRH). The defibrillators were purchased with a grant from the Federal Rural Grant Program secured by the State of Michigan EMS Section and the MCRH.
One defibrillator has been placed in service with the St. Louis Police Department in a patrol unit. The second was placed in service on a fire engine. Both units are available for rapid response to medical emergencies in the St. Louis community and fire district.
MMCFD – Rescue covers the city of St. Louis and townships (partial) of Bethany, Pine River and Jasper (Midland County). St. Louis Police Dept cover the city of St. Louis.
